Hi!
I just wonder how I can save a page's scroll position with javascript. (i'm
not a javascript developer) I have a PHP-page with two columns; the left
contains a lot of thumbnails, and the right contain a bigger picture of the
thumbnailed selected. The problem is that all these thumbnails (and the big
picture) are placed quite far down in the document. (a lot of text is at the
top.) What I want is that when a thumbnail is clicked, the...

I need to generate HTML files based on the some codes. One HTML file per
code. I have the link
(ex:http://123.234.345.456/WebPages/GetTestData.aspx?SomeCode=25), by passing
the code as parameter I will get the page displayed.
But I don't want to display it, instead save those files in one of the
network directories that can be accessed by our third party vended web based
application. How can I do this accessing and saving HTML files a...

I have a small project to create some simple HTML forms. Rather than
have our users go to our web page and 'SUBMIT' the form data, it would
be easier for them to fill out a simple standalone form, save it as an
HTML page and send the page as an attachment in an email for uploading
by the recipient. How feasible is this? and what HTML tags would make
it possible?

We have an access DB that 2 input people use to tracking incoming
patients. There is a form for them to do this but they find it
confusing to use (it's plainly laid out, no one else complains about
it). Management has decided that they want me to link 15 of our
templates so when a template is opened and text entered into one of the
text fields it will automatically be entered into the database.
First of all, is this possible?

I have a form with several subforms. Users enter the data, then on the
parent there is a command button that runs code to generate a .pdf
document from a report based on the data they are working with. If a
user enters data in a subform, then directly clicks the command button
on the parent form, the data in the subform is not included in their
document. I THOUGHT that as soon as focus left the subform, any
pending changes to the data...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
