Hi. I need to insert an entire html page from a string variable into a
asp.net page. I thought that literals should work, but still I need to
remove some tags like html, body, etc.
Thanks,
Alejandro Penate-Diaz. 4 1691
You can use response.write "<full html>"

Remove all html-markup from the aspx file (leave just the <%@Page> line).
Then use an override of the Render method to write out that string as the
complete html content of your page.

Thanks! I did this:
protected override void Render(HtmlText Writer writer)
{
writer.Write(Se ssion["body"].ToString());
}
and worked just perfect.
Alejandro.

Hi,
I'm a PHP-programmer who evaluates Python for a new project.
I really like a lot of concepts of Python, especially the shell, but there
is one great feature of PHP which I don't know how to replace in Python:
For database-intensive webpages, I like to cache the HTML-output on the fly
in the filesystem and put out the file later whenever the same URL is
requested again, for example:

URL: http://www.acad.sunytccc.edu/instruct/sbrown/stat/mygrades.htm
As I read the spec, I need _either_ data= and type= _or_ classid=
and codetype=. I've tried it both ways and neither works. I googled,
but was overwhelmed with results and none of them seemed hopeful
(probably because I don't see how to frame a query specifically
enough).
Some enlightenment, please?

Hello All
I tried to embed Excel sheet into HTML page by following command:
<iframe src="Tmp.XLS" width="100%" height="500"></iframe>
and it works, showing Excel sheet inside the page, but there is
no way I can save the Excel sheet after it has been change. The
Excel menu is not active and the system is not asking whether I
want to save the changes or not.

When I use an embed tag that uses a dynamic aspx page, the dynamic aspx page
appears to get called 2 times instead.
Below is code that adds an embed tag to a placeholder control that will use
a second aspx page to generate the svg for the embed.
svgchart.Controls.Clear();
string strSRC = "./DesktopModules/Enterprise/BusinessRuleSVG.aspx";

Question, can I see an event in Javascript that tells me a video starts
playing using the <embed src="file.wmv>. I stream the video, but there
is a wait time and wanted to pop up a message telling the user it is
buffering until the video actually begins to play in the browser.
Thanks for any help!

I have CSS drop down navigatoon bar and it works fine.
However, when I have page where I have an <embed - needed to show a PDF
file, such as:
<embed src="Security.pdf" width="900" height="500"></embed>
When the mouse passes over the navigation bar, the drop downs are hidden
behind the PDF page.

Inserting a Flash (SWF, FLV) file into HTML web page is already an old and familiar thing to all of us. It is a rather non-flexible thing that just to edit some options in the template. However, I did not understand some parameters totally in the HTML tag. These days when I was surfing the Internet I have found some comprehensive introduction to these two tags. I read it and conclude it with my own words; I think it will be useful to us, so I...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
