Is there a good reference online to good page design in VS.Net?
I am used to tools like DreamWeaver and GoLive that make CSS or table bases
layouts a breeze. However, it appears that VS.Net lacks any GUI support for
such ease (unless I just can't find it). I've even tried creating an aspx
page in Dreamweaver but when I load it in VS.Net, is just doesn't work quite
right....
I see many nice sites done in ASP.Net, so I know it can be done. I''m just
not figuring out how and where to start....

Wayne,
Use vs.net for programming and keep dw for making layouts.
Create pages in vs.net, then make page design as much as you can in dw,
don't do there any server-side programming, then go back to vs.net and add
server-side.
I've just purchased dw after years of struggling with vs design
capabilities.

i have created a aspx page template by creating a template.cs file which
inherits from the page class. In this file I override the OnInit event and
create a template in the form of a header, left menu and a footer. there is
also a body area where the main content of the page will go.
i created these 4 areas by dynamically creating a placeholder in each area
at runtime. in the template.cs i load user controls into each area...

I just opened some example from a book and I don't see any design view of the form.
Also I tried to open another solution which I did before in an other example and I closed the window which contains the design view of the form (the one with the title "Form1.cs ") and I don't know where to find it again.
