unauthorised to view page with IWA

Hi

I was running a test server (xp pro) on my machine running an ASP.NET
application, but cos of all the thoughts people have had re computer name,
thought id move it to my Windows 2000 server (the one running active
directory) to make life easier.

So, I've installed Framework 1.1, I've copied the directory, I've made it an
Application, disabled Anonymous access. Web.Config's authorisation setting is
set to "Windows".

Now, if I go to http://myserver/mysite from IE on the server, I get a logon
box popup. If i type in my username or password for the server, I get in.
Still, I shouldnt have got the popup box?

However, if I access http://mysever/mysite from another machine on the
network, I just get the "You are not authorised to view this page".

What have I missed in the transfer?!

Cheers
Dan

Hiall! I have a demo viewer page for javascript stuff that has three buttons "DEMO" "HTML" and "JSCR", and an IFRAME called 'viewer'. Initially, the IFRAME gets loaded with the actual demo page, ie., viewer.location = dName + '.html'; where dName is the filename of the demo without extension.

I have an intranet app that has just started sporadically getting the following error "The viewstate is invalid for this page and might be corrupted." By sproadic I mean 3-4 times during the past two days out of 100's of hits. The error just started yesterday and this app has been running for quite some time without this error and has not been updated just before or after the error started. Reseaching this error I've checked the...

I've read numerous sources stating that view state can be disabled per control, and per page, but can't seem to keep web form controls from remembering their state on a postback. I'm using VS.Net 2002, .Net Framework 1.0 SP2. I create a new project, and add a new web form to the project. On the page properties, I set EnableViewState to False and verify that the @ Page directive has "enableViewState=false" in it. I then add a TextBox...

Hi all, We have a web application that uses web services for data access and retrieval. The web app and web services reside under IIS on the same server(WIN2003). The virtual directories have been set for windows authentication and both the ASP web application and the web services are using windows authentication with impersonation of the logged on user. We also set the web service credentials to CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials. ...

I currently have a web service set that returns data. When I use these services through a browser, everything works fine and the resulting xml is displayed. However sometimes when I connect to the scripts using a php script I get the error message Http 401: Unauthorised. This usually happens after a short time, when the webservices have not been used. I am connecting to the webservices using Http Post and cURL.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
