Hello all,
we are running a delphi application with DB2 V8.01 which is causing
deadlocks when rows are being inserted into a table. Attaching the
Event Monitor Log (DEADLOCKS WITH DETAILS) here. From the log it looks
like the problem happens when 2 threads insert 1 record each in the
same table and then try to aquire a NS (Next Key Share)
lock on the record inserterd by the other thread.

Hi - I have a datagrid that has a black header and the rows alternate
white and gray. The problem is that until items are added to the grid,
the grid appears as a large black rectangle, which is quite ugly. The
black area is larger then it is once an item is added. How can I solve
this problem either by:
A) Having only the header black and the rest of the empty block white or
gray (preffered solution)

Hello again I have a datagrid and I'm showing many records. I need 2 things:
I need that everytime they scroll down, the header stays lock so the user
can see it all the time. I need to scroll only the data and keep the header
stationary. Is this possible?

of building an asp.net application that will display statistics on a large
LCD display for viewing by people within the room (30 feet away). One

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
