I am working with the MSHTML editor control. I used
win32com.client.gencache.EnsureModule on the MSHTML type library to
generate the necessary IDispatch support for all the various
interfaces used by MSHTML.
I have just implemented some of the necessary custom COM
interfaces/gateways to allow me to take control of MSHTML's
right-click menu.

I'm writing a small console app in .NET that needs to reference a 3rd
party dll.
I wrote the app by adding a reference to the 3rd party dll in my
project and my code builds and executes perfectly. However, when I
made a setup file and installed it on another box, I get:

we have a new asp.net site that is getting a lot of hits. I have set this up on its own server with its own database server. We have a search system built into the site which is timing out (there are thousands of pages to full text search)

Hi,
Our app uses a 3rd party dll with ActiveX controls that is installed and
registered by the setup.
We have a customer who has installed on Win2k and is getting this exception
when the app tries to use the dll (stack trace below). Other features

I am getting an error when trying to use an ADODB.Recordset that was passed
from a VB6 application to a VB.Net class library using COM Interop. I am
running this on WinXP SP2 using the .Net Framework 1.1 and MDAC 2.8 SP1.
This is what I've done:
- I compiled the VB.Net DLL and registered it so it can be used in the VB6
app using "regasm /tlb:VBNETClass.tlb VBNETClass.dll".

hi,
i got an error QueryInterface for interface DocMgr._clsDocMgr failed where
DocMgr is a COM object written by VB6. I just compiled DocMgr with a changed
revision but SAME classid (binary compatiblity is true). why do i get this
error?
will changing revision of a COM will generate this error? do i need to
compile my program everytime i compiled DocMgr which is a common module. it
seems not a good method.

Hi,
I am developing an ASP.Net application that uses a VB6.0 COM+ dll. When I
try to debug the VS.NET application with VB6.0 running (and registered in
COM+) I am receiving a QueryInterface Error when the application attempts to

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
