Hello,
i'm struggling with a somehow badly understood session scenario.
I provide acces to my pages based on form authentication using
Session cookies.
Som of my pages are supposed to be running continuously and refreshing once
an hour.
I there set timeout= 61 in <sessionState section and on my page it says
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3600">.
I also set timeout=120 in the <forms section of web.config to make sure

Hi, everyone,
I need the web application's session to expire after 20 minutes and I added
this in the web.config file but it is not working. I was able to go onto
the default.aspx page after a couple of days that I haven't logged on and I
was not prompted to. Any suggestions? Thanks
<authentication mode="Forms">
<forms name="logincookie" loginUrl="login.aspx" protection="All"
timeout="20"/>

Hi All,
I'm hoping somebody could help me with the following problem.
I'm using forms authentication and the user is getting authenticated no
problem. Once authenticated the user can look at all the appropriate
pages and so on.
When the user is inactive for a set period of time, I want their
authentication ticket to expire. As I understand it, the next time the

ASP.NET 2.0/IIS 6/Windows 2003
I have all my session settings set to the standard 20 min. but many times
the session will time out prior to 20 min. of inactivity. My questions are:
1. Is there any way to find out why a session was reset?
2. Is there anything other than a session ID I can use to record data
throughout a "session" (From the time someone starts visiting until they
finish) I can't use client IP address because we get to...

Hi,
I have a website running in IIS7 and it seems to be creating a new session for every request I make. The values I store in Session are lost with every request.
This is the forms bit in my web.config:
<authentication mode="Forms">
<forms name=".ReMaCRM" loginUrl="~/Login.aspx" defaultUrl="~/Default.aspx" cookieless="AutoDetect" domain="" timeout="10" protection="All" />
</authentication>

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
