Hi,
I have experienced problems when dealing with nested anchors.
I implemented some code to perform highlighting and specific anchors
are used for the searched words. The problem is when the searched words
are inside <a href> tags, the links are lost after putting my anchors.
For example:
<a class="Programa" href="#" OnClick="window.open('/something.tif');"

I have a datagrid with update/cancel on one side, a button on the
other which, when clicked, will take the user to a page that allows
them to e-mail that particular observation's data. My problem, is
that I have some columns that are sortable. To make everything work,
I can wrap the e-mail code in a 'if not.postback' statement (wrong I
know--testing here), but then, my sorts/updates/cancels don't work
because an error is thrown from the...

I have two web applications that I am working with and I am trying to do a
Response.Redirect from one to the other. They are setup as separate web
applications on the same IIS server. If I go directly to the second
application in a browser, all of my events fire correctly. However, if I
have the first application do a Response.Redirect to the second, for some
reason none of my events on the second application ever get fired. After I...

I have a stored procedure which returns a value of between 0 and 4.
I want the user to press a button to receive feed back on their last input.
The save button takes the input and saves it to the database. The feedback
button runs a stored proc that takes the saved data from the table, performs
a logical calcualation and returns the right value between 0 and 4. Depending
on the value returned the redirect page is different.
Here is...

Hi,
need some advice on URIs
In a dynamic page (perl driven) we list a number of items presented in
an hierarchical tree structure. Within that page is a form which allows
you to search for items containing various strings (trying to get the
users to *remember* CTRL+F was proving fruitless). The results are then
presented at the top of the page with links to the relative anchor
references (<a href="#foo">) . When clicked these would...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
