When trying to create a new project on a new install of .NET 2003 I get the
following error
Error says Web server in not running asp.net 1.1
But I look in the administrative tools and it says
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration
How can I fix this?

I installed Visual Studio Beta 2005 but setting up the SQL server was so
complex I uninstalled it and put Visual Studio 2003 Academic on. I am
totally new to Visual Studio and trying to teach myself from books and
online classes.
Now, whenever I try to open .sln files (eg MOD11VB.sln) from the online
classes I get these messages:

I have no idea what is going on. I have a Login screen where someone types
in their login information and this populates a datagrid based off of the
login. Works great in debug and test through VS, however, when I change to
release and put it out on the web it fails giving me the following error
message
The underlying connection was closed. Could not establish a trust
relationship with the remote server.

The web server is running Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, and it
returns HTTP 404 error when running ASP.NET pages, but ASP pages are working
fine. I also installed Visual Studio .NET, and the framework version should
be 1.1.
I am sure ASP.NET is enable in the machine by checking the following

running vs2005 I have a small test website called TestPublish which has
default.aspx, ErrorPage.aspx and testpage.htm. The default page just says
hello world and no other code and the errorpage has nothing yet (not sure

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
