As you probably know, when you click on a link in MSIE and go to a page,
then when you click the "back" button, you see a dotted box outlining the
link on which I just clicked.
As far as I'm aware, no versions of Opera support this desired capability
natively, so I've experimented, as best I could, with using a custom CSS
file which contains the following:
a:hover { outline: 2px dotted black; }

Hi,
I'm posting in this forum for the first time so if I break any conventions
or protocols I'm sorry.
I've attached this style:
*:focus { outline: none }
to a page but it doesn't remove the dotted lines (surrounding links that

I have n number of circles. Some of them might overlap.
I need to draw the outline of all circles but not those overlap areas.
Initially, I am try to use a Region, because a Region object has a Union
function
Creating a GraphicsPath of 1 circle is easy. So I convert each GraphicsPath
to a Region and then Union them.
But I could not get back a GraphicsPath of the Unioned Region.
Does anyone know how to solve my problem?

Hi - I am new to VB.Net/2005, but not VB. I am trying to find an
outline or tree - type control for VB.Net/2005 that provides the
ability for the User to TYPE in one of the NODES of the outline... AND
while typing, that node will visually expand to 2/3/4/etc lines if the
User has reached the end of the line. Ideally, I would also like the
User to be italicize or colorize any word within what they are typing
also. Thanks much! Rex

I want to get a red outline around different divs on a page when I
hover the mouse over them, and then have the red outline disappear on
mouse out (basically to indicate that various elements on the page are
"active"). Does anyone know how to do this, or know the best way to
do this? Any help with this would be fantastic.

I'm thinking of doing it this way: when I hover over an element, I

Does anyone have a clever algorithm for generating an outline of the
current document from (client-side) javascript using DOM methods?
For example, let's say I predictably have a document structured
hierarchically with <h1>...<h6tags. I want to generate an outline of
the document wherein I have nested lists of the contents of the headers.
Take for example the following snippet of a fictional legal document:
------------
<h1>Main...

I am wondering if access 2003 has the ability to open a linked Word Document, without that document being related directly to a table (I do not need to merge data with the document).
I am working on an inventory control database, and would like to create a 'Users Manual' to outline how we prepare items to be inventoried, how to use the database and general information about giftshop activities. We already have an Office Manual in Microsoft...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
