Visio 2003 ActiveX control in web page?

I've read the white paper
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...y/en-us/odc_vi
s2003_ta/html/odc_vsProgrammi ngWithVisioActi veXControl.asp) on using the
Visio ActiveX 2003 control and learned that:

1) You can use the control with applications that depend on the IE
browser control. In these cases the object model can be referenced by
script languages.

2) You can add the control to a web form. In this case the object model
cannot be referenced by a script language.

I'm not sure what #1 really means mostly because I don't have any
examples of an IE browser control. My guess is that it's a web browser
control for Windows applications.

Item #2 is the one that I am most interested in because it pertains to
web forms. What I don't know is if I can access the object model is ANY
way when a web form is used. There isn't any mention of using code
behind with the ActiveX control.

If you look at any of the sample applications that use the control with
C# and a Windows form, MY GOAL is to do the same thing but with web
forms. I'd like to know if this is possible. If not, I'd like to know
why.

I used Rational Rose UML for quite some time. When I generated code it didn't clobber my code. Rose put little markers which stated here you can put your personal modifications and Rose will preserve them after regenerating code. VISIO seems not to put any markers into the code it generates and when I regenerate the code it clobbers whatever changes I made in the methods. Is this something than I can control, like a property to turn...

Hi, We recently built a very basic file management system for a client in Access 2003 (to use with incoming tif scans). In it we used Microsoft's Document Imaging activex viewer (from Office 2003). The viewer seems to be a bit 'buggy', in that sometimes if you preview a tif image using the activex on a form, then goto another form, and then come back to preview the same image again on the first form, the preview no longer shows up...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
