I have jpeg images that are 2848 x 4256 pixels. I want to programatically
convert them to images that are approximately 427 x 638 (that maintains the
ratio) and save to new jpeg files.
How can .net accomplish the image resizing?

Hello all!
I been trying to get a handle with Images. I have learned alot from the fine
people here. So, I also learned that thumbnail images look terrible taken
from a digital cam. I know why they look bad. So what is the best way to
resize an image. I'm not too concerned about size, but I guess I would like
to compress it on the upload.
Any thoughts?

Howdy,
I have a function that uploads an image and that works great. I love ..Nets built in upload, so much easier than 3rd party uploaders!
Now I am making a public function that will take the path of the uploaded image, and resize it with the provided dimensions. My function is below. The current function is returning an error when run from the upload function: A generic error occurred in GDI+. Not sure what exactly that means. From what...

Hi, I'm using the Image module to resize PNG images from 300 to 100dpi for
use in HTML pages, but I'm losing some vertical and horizontal lines in the
images (usually images of x-y plots).
Here's what I do:
import Image
def imgResize(self,filename):
img = Image.open(filename)
dpi = img.info.get('dpi')
if dpi and 295 < int(dpi) < 305:

Image Resize & Rotation
Hi
I have 2 scripts, one for Image rotation and other image resize and they both are working.
Image resize scripts load the picture and resize it and Image rotation rotate the image by 90 deg. They are two differennt files i.e. resize.php and rotate.php.
What I want to do is to combine both rotate.php & resize.php files, so when the script resized the image than it will call rotate script to rotate the...

height and 50 px width.
In some pages I need the image to be 30x30 px in others 40x40 px and
in others 50x50px.
Can I scale the image using CSS?
Thanks,

Whilst I am resizing images I am losing quality. This is only happening in
small amounts, but if you repeatedly put the same image through the
following code, the image quality slowly degrades. Can anyone spot why this
may be happening? Should it only deteriate once upon intitially going
through this procedure? The deterioration is subtle, but after a few
iterations is quite noticeable..:

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
