Graphic/Random Generation ?

WJ
When register oneself to do business online, at thew end of registration
page, there is a Graphic that contains a string of number, you are required
to enter this string before prewssing the submit, I think this is very good
idea to ensure that there is a real person entering the data. My question is
where can I find this neat product or what is the name of this feature ? I
think the program randomly generates a number, then creates a graphic canvas
and finally the randowm number is drawned on the canvas before being
rendered.

Thanks

John

I want to create some random numbers for encryption purposes, and i wonder if the following scheme makes it more hard to guess the underneath number generation pattern, than the plain use of rand(): #include <stdlib.h> #include <time.h>

Hello All, I need some help with random number generation. What I need exactly is: To create a few thousand numbers, decimal and integers, between 5 and 90, and then to export them as a single column at a spreadsheet.

Ok, I don't know what they're called, but you know the form: The page displays a "code", usually on a similar color background (dark gray), and the text is all squiggly. It's an attempt to foil the bots that go out and process forms. The user has to type in the code they see, when the graphic itself should be unreadable by character recognition engines. So, how are the graphics generated, and how do you implement this?

Hi, I try to create and render a graphic among other objects like e.g. tables, labels, buttons. The tables are not a problem, neither the graphic. My problem is that i can't render both together. With the code below, i only see the graphic, nothing else (no table, label, button). How can i see the table and below the table, the graphic?

I am looking for a random number generator implementation with the following requirements: - Thread-safe, re-entrant. - Produces consistently reproducible sequences of psuedo-random numbers given a seed. - Relatively uniform, does not have to be perfect. The application is not a security or statistics application, the quality of numbers is not a priority although a fairly uniform

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
