DataGrid Style

Hi,

I have a datagrid that I want to set different styles for header and normal
items. The problem is that I setup right in properties of datagrid, but
nothing happens in design. I can't say why!!!
Can you help me???

For example:
I want that all borders of datagrid can be lightblue, but the border of
datagrid header must be darkblue.
How can I set this???

Try this one for your datagrid. Give Proper colours of your choice.
<asp:datagrid id="DataGrid1" runat="server" borderstyle="Ri dge"
borderwidth="2p x" cellpadding="3"
cellspacing="1" bordercolor="Wh ite" backcolor="Whit e"
gridlines="None ">
<selecteditemst yle font-bold="True" forecolor="Whit e"
backcolor="#947 1DE"></selecteditemsty le>
<itemstyle borderwidth="1p x" forecolor="Blac k"
borderstyle="So lid" bordercolor="#F F8000" backcolor="#DED FDE"></itemstyle>
<headerstyle font-bold="True" borderwidth="1p x"
forecolor="#E7E 7FF" borderstyle="Do uble" bordercolor="Da rkSlateBlue"
backcolor="#4A3 C8C"></headerstyle>
<footerstyle forecolor="Blac k"

When setting certain datagrid properties with the IDE (as in the property window), they don't seem to take effect. For instance, Font Name. So I have to set these via code-behind at the cell level. Is this expected? Shouldn't anything on the properties window render accordingly? Thanks

Hi, I need to build an editable Datagrid with add & delete buttons on each row using javascript. DataGrid need not be pre-populated with values. To make the thing complicated, one of the column need to be a date picker field. I know things will be easier with ASPX datagrid.

I was looking over some of my 2003 code today (see below) that loads a foxpro table via oledb connection. I used a sub "autosizecolumns" I found on the web but I never quite understood why they said the style name had to be the same as the table name. Perhaps the are refering to ts1.mappingname must be the same as the table name...
