Hi Subject line doesn't make sense I know. Basically we have a number of people on our system. They can sign up automatically and create their page. What I want to be able to do is give them their own url (eg. www.mydomain.com/theirsite). Because they can sign up without our interference, I need some way of creating a directory, with an index page that goes to their site, or some

Howdy all, I have 2 domain names that both go to the same website. For example, if www.XXXX.com is the primary name for the website, if you type in www.XXXX.com or www.YYYY.com, they both go www.XXXX.com for the same website jsut via different names. What I want to do is take one of those, and redirect them to a sub folder. So if someone goes to www.XXXX.com they just go to the normal Index page. But if someone goes to www.YYYY.com,...

I need to redirect to another web page, but that redirect will include the submission of form data. So, unlike ServerXMLHTTP which stays on the originating web page, I need the script to redirect to the page that I'm submitting the POST data to (without pressing a submit button). Any suggestions? Thanks, Victor

I'm writing a console utility to download specific files from web sites based on the command line options. In most cases, I can trap the 404 error when the file isn't available because the operator mistyped the URL or it's offline for whatever reason. The problem I'm running into is with certain sites where the admin has set up a redirect to handle the 404 condition and redirects the request to another page. In this case, the...

Hi, I´ve two websites stored in IIS 5.0, and what I want is to Redirect from A website to B website, the problem is that doesn´t work because if I use Response.Redirect (http://localhost:5080) where is the A website from the B, it only works in the same machine, because if you try doing it from another one it takes de localhost directly without asking for the correct parsing. I tryed too doing it with the Server.Transfer, but that doesn´t...

Hi, I'm not sure if this can be done as I've searched the web and this forum. I am using an online merchant provider and I must post certain variables to their webforms through a form on my website. The issue is that I need to gauge whether a user has any items in their basket to decide which page I redirect them too. I could

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
