ASP.NET 2.0 Page with LinkButton & __doPostBack client side script missing

I have a aspx page with a LinkButton running under asp.net 2.0.

When I access the page with Internet Explorer the
__doPostBack script, __EVENTTARGET, and __EVENTARGUMENT field are present and everything works fine.

However..

When I access the page using NUnitAsp the __doPostBack script, __EVENTTARGET, and __EVENTARGUMENT fields are missing.

In ASP.NET 1.1, the page was emitted correctly using NUnitASP.

My hunch is that ASP.NET2.0 is expecting something (extra) in the HTTP Request.

Anyone have any ideas?

I have 2 aspx pages... neither of which do anything out of the ordinary. One of the pages automatically generates this block of code when viewed at the client: ------------------------------------------------------------ <form name="webfrmForm" method="post" action="pokedex.aspx" id="webfrmForm"> <input type="hidden" name="__EVENTTARGET" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="__EVENTARGUMENT" value="" /> <input type="hidden"...

Hi, I am creating a simple .aspx page to add some fields with validation. I have used different .NET validations like REquiredFieldValidator, RegularExpressionValidator and showed the summary in the bulleted list on top. I have 3 text boxes, and two RadioButtonList. and 3 buttons. One for Submit, Reset and Exit. If submit is pressed page should be validated and submit (insert into

Ok, before anyone freaks out, I have a solution I need to create that gathers content from maybe different places. Each one can return a <form> in the html, so its the classic can't have more than one runat=server form on a asp.net page. However, I still want developers to be able to use asp.net controls to create some apps that are created on the page. So I need multiple forms on a asp.net page(doesn't everyone). I purchased the...

hi, I have a little problem with the function "Page.GetPostBackClientHyperlink". First some description of my page: It is a simple testpage for testing "selecting a row af the datagrid by clicking on the whole row". After some googling I thought I found a solution (see code below) I have a datagrid with 1 Select-column (via the property-building in VS.NET) and some auto-generated colums with data. The "Select-column" is the first column...

In my old 1.1 apps the default was MS_POSITIONING="GridLayout" and Textboxes and labels and such always had POSITION: absolute; and I never had any distortion when the page was rendered. Life was good. now in 2.0 I'm using the default placeholder and putting a table in the placeholder and putting controls in the cells in the table. "the way it is supposed to be done" I have a textbox in a table that is defined as follows... <td...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
