I've a page where the user may enter some values and upload some pictures.
Unfortunately, some pictures coming from digital camera are very big, and
take a lot of time for uploading.
I've created a DIV that I show when uploading, but this uses DHTML and
javascript, wich are not available everywhere.
How to do something like:

Is there any good and reliable Upload Component for ASP (or ASP.NET)? I
need one which provides an upload status bar.
As well, it must be able to handle more than 4 gigabytes of data transfer.
Internet connections can be unreliable at times. This component needs to be
able to resume broken uploads.
Thank you for your recommendations.

**** A CHALLENGE TO THE GURUS - refute the statement "It's impossible

Hello,
I have the following setup:
The page that contains the form with file upolad HTML control resides on
another server that doesn't have ASP.NET available. It may well be just
static HTML.
I need to program the "receiving side" of the upload. Preferrably, I'd be
happy with soultion that doesn't involve webforms controls, not to make

I am trying to implement a file upload progress indicator (doesn't have to be a progress bar) using atlas... I do realize that the indicator cannot be implemented using Update panel control, but is it possible to implement it using some other control, for example a floating window?

I used the following code for implementing a file upload progress indicator, using UpdateProgress Panel, though I have a problem that FileUpload.Has File always returns false. Any suggestions what might be wrong?
FileUpload2.aspx
<%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="FileUpload2.aspx.cs" Inherits="FileUpload2" %>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"...

Hello all,
1. I am a little new to ASP.NET, so please bear with me.
2. I am trying to create a very simple website which requires an upload
box (end user file sizes may be anywhere between 1MB to 10 MB).
3. I would also like to show a progress bar so that the user can see
the progress of what he is uploading.

i want to do (multiple) file upload(s) and display a progress bar.
with firefox and safari it is no problem at all. only IE makes some
problems.
my script is based on ajax-uploader, which can be found at
www.srmiles.com/freestuff/ajax_file_uploader/ . you can do multiple
file uploads. each upload will have it's own "form"-tag, so that each
file is uploaded for its own. could be a good solution if there are
"big" uploads.

Hello,
Does anyone know of an easy to implement ajax upload script for php
which also has a progress bar. If possible I'd like it to be able to
remove already uploaded files and do minor manipulations...
Thanks.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
