Hi,
I'm a complete beginner in Javascript and php ... so forgive me for
asking an easy/simple solution to the following problem:
I'm developing an application that involves multi-screen in different
windows. One of my windows involves an automatic refresh every 99 sec.
The problem is that the window is coming into focus each time the
refresh occurs. How can I prevent this from happening? Thank you in
advance for any suggestions....

Can someone tell me how I can get a page(any page) on the Internet to
refresh automatically every 5 minutes. I was thinking along the lines of
having a HTML file on my C-drive with JavaScript to do so. It should be
possible, Right?
I don't know much about JavaScript.

Hi,
I have a situation where I need to be able to refresh a windows parent
parent. I can not seem to use anything like
window.opener.parent.location.reload()
as by the time I execute the statement the parent has closed and all
connections closed and I am not even sure that would work!
Is there a way to reference a window to refresh it other than by using

I have an ASPX page that is storing data into a session Variable:

When the User clicks "Next" on the page, it naviages to "Details.aspx",

My frameset has three frames, header, navigation bar and a main page.
I can tell when the server has timed out because the session variables have
been reset but, when that happens, how do I refresh the frameset and all the
frames?

'Refresh' an IE window that might be active (window status not applicable).
It needs to be able to determine which active IE window to refresh, based on

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
