How would I use a regular expression to remove all trailing Carriage Returns
and Line Feeds (%0D%0A) from a textarea's value? Thanks in advance.
Also, are they any great references for learning how to use Regular
Expressions?

I guess this problem can be distilled down to: How do I search through a
string, find the first matching substring, replace it, and continue through
the string doing this. Can replace_if() be used to do this?
Here is a concrete example:
If I have a string with sequences of CRLF and possibly just CR's, is there a
simple way of replacing the CRLF characters with a LF?
If you look at the function below is it possible to use a replace_if...

Dear All,
In a multiline field if I enter the following way:
Mangesh
Anant
Kodilkar
There is a carriage return after each word.
Now when I press save,it loses the CRLF characters. This is not
correct. Even after the page is reloaded the CRLF's are lost. I get
this problem on my PC (XP), on Win (2000), on Win (NT & 98). So I

I built up a string in code and now I wish to evaluate it using Cbool but I
get a runtime error.
This is my expression:
?CBool("11=10 OrElse 11=11")
Run-time exception thrown : System.InvalidCastException - Cast from string
"11=10 OrElse 11=11" to type 'Boolean' is not valid.
If I remove the quotes manually from the string the expression works as I
had hoped:

Hello everyone.
I have a question, or problem if you will, that I'm sure someone knows
the answer to. I have a database that stores information on a given
user. The information is stored in a serialized array. This works
flawlessly when using only single line text. When I tried to store
multiline text, the problem arose.
When the serialized data is deserialized, the array breaks. Any
suggestions?

Hi, on windows xp I'm using
xampp v 1.6.4
I'm trying to send mail. The mail always sends, but the multipart
sections are broken. Essentially, I want to send an html email that
has a link it, like http://www.google.com so the reader can click on
the link.
When I get the email, the body is empty.

Hi guys -
I have written a form, and a stored procedure to update the said form.
It really is as simple as that. A user can go into the form, update some fields and hit the update button to update the information which is stored in a SQL database.
In testing we noticed that the form was updating correctly but the update mechanism was also updating the first record of the table in the sql database every time. No error messages are on...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
