Hi,
I'll be very grateful if somebody can explain me why my Opera 7.23
(runing under linux) doesn't show me inner tables. Using below code I
can see only "inner table 1". There is no problem with other browsers
(I checked it under Konqueror).
Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards.

Hello Everyone,
I am after some help with the following:
I have a windows application that contains a list box and
two data grids. All three controls are binded to a dataset
that contains five tables, and three relations that I want
to take advantage of. Everything works fine however I want
to use the data grid table style editor to make it look
more presentable. Currently I have successfully done this

I'm having an issue with an ASP.NET page (VS.NET 2003, VB.NET, Oracle
back end). The page uses the standard VS.NET grid to display the
records from a particular table. The user can edit certain fields in
the grid. There are 10 columns in the grid, 5 static fields (labels),
4 listboxes, and 1 edit box. 2 of the listboxes hold about 12 items
each and the other 2 listboxes only contain 2 items.
The problem is that on some lower end...

I have a lot of columns in the datagrid which are being populated from the

names.
So I want to group them into

Hi all.
Just having a weird problem with tkinter. I'm trying to make a gui that
shows results from an image search, with a "forward" and "back" button
so the user can compare results from different pages. All that's
working fine...
The problem I'm having is that the images don't show onscreen the first
time the "first page" of results shows up. When I click the "search
again" button, and have more than the original results page to...

Cant believe I spent 4 hours trying to figure out why only the first grid in
my new multiview shows up and the other grids are invisible in the other
views I just added. The database tables were not populated except for the
table I had in the first view! INCREDIBLE: All that data I saw during
design, and assumed it came from the database, was just bill gates made up
data that the designer needed so you could see what you were doing.
So...

I encountered this problem for the first time today while trying to add
some columns to a query from a linked DBASEIII file. The new columns
that I added on the design grid do not show up on the data sheet, even
though the box is checked. I've already done some trouble shooting,
making sure the box is checked, making sure that the columns aren't
hidden.
Also, I went to the toolbar menu, under tools and then options, and
checked the...

Hi All,
I am really new to Tk and Tkinter. I googled the web but it was not
mentioned how to build a data grid with Tkinter.
Basically, I want to show an excel like data grid with fixed column
and row headers and sortable columns. But the grids can be read-only.
Can anyone give some hint on implementing this?

I have a data grid view, i have specified several columns through the designer that i would like to show on the grid, i have mapped them to the datasource, this works fine, the problem is, my data source contains lots of columns and some of these i do not want to show on the grid.
Is there a property/option where i can just get my specified columns to show, without resorting to removing each column programticly.
Thanks,
James Coverdale

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
