A Table consists of TableRows ("<tr>"), that consist of TableCells ("<td>").
Set your width there.

I seem to having a little trouble getting a table to display correctly in both msie and firefox. I want to set the table and column widths in pixels, and have some cell padding too. The table displays correctly in standards compiance mode in firefox, but not msie, where the padding is added on to the column widths. the table size is always correct, but the column widths are not what I expect them to be. If I change the column widths to...

This is for a Win form, in C# 2005. I want to load a datagrid, make some columns width 0, and then clean out the record I added. I get the error message, ""Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"" I have tried, -1,0,1,2 for the index, and I get the same error message on each try.

Hi, Visual Studio 2003 The application Im writing is skinned and therefore i need to be able to write my own code for manipulating and drawing headers for a data grid outside of the control. I created and populated a dataset (source at end of mail) and bound it to a grid for testing. For the datagrid, I used a tablestyles object mapped to table "box". I add gridcolumnstyles for each column and set the 'Icon' column width to 32

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
