Well..
...I am using some resource files to make the internationaliz ation of a
ASP.NET application.
I created a project and three resource files.
------- resource files -------
/strings.txt
/en-US/strings.en-US.txt
/pt-BR/strings.pt-BR.txt
------- resource files -------
When I compile, is generated:
------- compiled -------
/bin/LicenseManager. dll
/bin/en-US/LicenseManager. resources.dll
/bin/pt-BR/LicenseManager. resources.dll
------- compiled -------
The source to use these resources is:
------------------- source -------------------
Thread.CurrentT hread.CurrentCu lture
= CultureInfo.Cre ateSpecificCult ure("en-US");
Thread.CurrentT hread.CurrentUI Culture
= Thread.CurrentT hread.CurrentCu lture;
ResourceManager rm = new ResourceManager ("strings",
Assembly.GetExe cutingAssembly( ));
Response.Write( rm.GetString("x xx",
CultureInfo.Cre ateSpecificCult ure("en-US")));
------------------- source -------------------
But when I run the application:
------------------- error message -------------------
Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture (or the
neutral culture) in the given assembly. Make sure "strings.resour ces" was
correctly embedded or linked into assembly "LicenseManager ". baseName:
strings locationInfo: <null> resource file name: strings.resourc es assembly:
LicenseManager, Version=1.0.143 3.26887, Culture=neutral , PublicKeyToken= null
------------------- error message -------------------
I think that the neutral culture not was linked with the application, then
the
error occurs.
I created a simple application, console application, that generate the same
error.
But, if I compile (the console application) manually works.
------------------- manually compilation -------------------
resgen strings.txt
resgen strings.en-NZ.txt
resgen strings.de.txt
csc /t:exe /res:strings.res ources /out:myApp.exe
al /t:lib /culture:en-NZ /embed:strings.e n-NZ.resources
/out:myApp.resou rces.dll
al /t:lib /culture:en-de /embed:strings.d e.resources
/out:myApp.resou rces.dll
------------------- manually compilation -------------------
My ask is:
How I resolv this?
How I config the Visual Studio to compile the string.txt with the
application, and link the Satellite Assemblies?
How I compile a ASP.NET application manually, to use /res:strings.res ources,
equal the console application?
observation: All resources are configurated as "Embedded Resource".
Please... Help-me!
Tanks..

I have been using gettext and various utilities to provide
internationalization for a wxPython application and have not really been
liking the process. Essentially it uses a macro-style notation to
indicate which strings should be internationalized.
Essentially, everything looks like this
_("STRING")
A good description of this system is located here

Hello,
yesterday I met a cute person (after my dance class) who told me about an
interesting experiment regarding cognition. People were told to read a
typed text; However, in every word in the text, only the first and the
last letter were in the right place. The other letters had their
positions changed in an arbitrary manner. The surprising result, I was
told, was that people can read this mixed-up text fairly well.
Because I am a...

Howdy all,
somebody used in the past the library System.Resources for
internationalization purpose?
I would like to develop an application multi-lingual (english and
french) and I´m thinking to use this library. But the problem is that,
I created the resources file (binary) normally but when I run the
application, one exception occurs for me.

Internationalization means using one form which is both

has no such features; but if an international standard exists
it can be coded for.

Can anyone recommend an approach to internationalization?
I am specifically concerned about the need to append an &lang=xx to
every internal link and URL. I really don't want to have to manually do
this if at all possible. Is there an approach anyone has taken to this
problem, perhaps some way of autogenerating the query string, or
avoiding it altogether.
If it helps I am using Smarty for this project.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
