I purchased Visual Basic .NET version 2003 Standard
I first try to connect Visual Basic .NET 2003 Standard to SQL Server
2000 Personal edition. When I go into Visual Basic .NET under Server

First weird problem...
The other day, out of the blue, our application reported an error saying it
could not connect to the postgres db. The hostname that it reported is the
name of the machine but it hasn't been used in awhile. However, it does
have a valid cname entry in dns pointing to the correct host. I added the
name in the /etc/hosts file on the server and the problem was fixed.
Next weird problem...

If they have Ms Access 2000 or higher, will they be able to use these dbs

I have a test network consisting of four servers running windows 2003 server R2 SP2. I have set up a domain which functioned correctly for about a day and a half until the other servers decided they can no longer connect to the domain controller. Ping resolves the domain controllers name to the correct ip nslookup finds the ip but can not resolve the name.
When I attempt to log on to a machine on the domain it takes around twenty minutes...
