I'm working in PHP, but am also using JavaScript, so perhaps there is

I setup a search screen for my database, the user enters data and
submits a form via POST
From that I get a results list screen, based on data I submit via a

I need to be able to allow a user to submit a form which opens another
window. This part I have working. But after the submit, I need to delay
and have the original window do a reload. I cannot figure out how to do
this. If I do a delay and reload with an OnSubmit, then the new window
will load only after the reload, which will not work.

I have a page that opens a popup window and within the window, some databse
info is submitted and the window closes. It then refreshes the original
window using window.opener.location.reload(). The problem is that after the
reload, it brings you right to the top of the page. When I click 'refresh"
on the original page, it brings me back to the original viewing position.
Is there a way to duplicate this in from the popup window.

Is it possible to reload a web page on user browser when an event occurs at
server side?
For example when user A places an order, user B should be notified of that
and should see that order on his page.
I 'd like to avoid to reload B page every nnn seconds. Or at least, I'd like
to check if something interesting has changed on server and only in that
case to reload the page.
Any suggestion?

loads data into a session variable and when closed I need to reload the first
page loading in the data from the session variable. Since I need to close

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
