i have a datagrid within a panel so that the user can scroll (vertically)
the datagrid rather than page it
the problem is that when i select (using select button within the datagrid)
a record the panel refreshes and goes back to the top again.
is there a way to prevent this occuring and somehow get the panel to remain
at the position it was scrolled to?
Cheers,

I have a panel containing textboxes and buttons which I use as a
header for a datagrid on a webform. I would like the panel width to
match the datagrid width. The datagrid width grows depending on the
data being displayed. I tried setting the panel style width to the
datagrid width after the datagrid is bound. But the panel is being set
to the datagrid width I set at design time, not the actual datagrid
width once it has been rendered....

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what the easiest way to achieve a collapsable panel area
in a datagrid is? Do I need to find a third party panel control or does the
datagrid/gridview somehow support this functionality inherently?
Many thanks to anyone who can advise
Simon

I am using a panel inside an asp.net 2.0 page so that I can have the
scrolling capabilities. Inside the panel I have a datagrid that I would like
to stay within a certain area. On the initial page load the panel works as
expected but when I load the datagrid the panel expands off the side of the
page to accomidate the new grid size. Does anyone know how to prevent this
without using an absolute size. The panel basically takes up the...

I have the following problem. I have a list of products in a Database.
Now I would like to list them on a DataGrid, but in a special manner.
In the first cell of a row in the DataGrid I would like to put the
product-image (which is also not a problem) and in the second cell of
the DataGrid I would like to put a Panel or something, where I add
several things, like the title, description, price ... of the product
and also controls such as...

I previously had the problem of getting scrollbars on my datagrid. Got the solution to use <div> tags, which worked fine, but each time i selected a record, the focus on the grid was lost and the position reset. the same with panel. got the solution to use an updatepanel. which works great. i dont loose focus on the grid. but now i cant get my postback to work like it used to. the setup is as follows: i have the datagrid inside the update...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
