Hi, as requested here is the change I made to have it
working, those are syntax error, I am presently moving
and old program from VFP7.0 to .NET and SQL server and
meanly forget to change the query.
First change: add the @ in the parameter name.
Object[,] parametre = new object[,]
{{"@client",Sql DbType.Char,60, clientID}}; //use 2-
dimension array
Second change: add the @ in the parameter name, plus
remove the !empty() function and change it to <> ' ',
because the IS NOT NULL does not return the expected
results.
string select = "SELECT distinct
details.d_nfact ure,project.p_n ame FROM project,details
where project.p_clien t = @client and details.d_nfact ure
<> ' ' and project.p_refno = details.d_refno ORDER BY
d_nfacture";

Will just the .NET Framework suffice???

Hi all,
I have written a webservice which I am using in my smartphone applicaiton.
I have tried the webservice with a WinForms client and it works time and time
again perfectly. When I include it in my smartphone application, it will
work the first time and return ther query set, however when i try it again i
get the following error :
"Server found request content type to be 'text/html; charset=Windows-1252',
but expected 'text/xml'."

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
