Paypal question...

I know this is kind of off topic, but i am thinking of
integrating it in my asp.net site...

My question is: If someone buys something from my site
(using Paypal), and they are NOT a registered PayPal
user, can they buy my product immediately, or do they
first have to sign up, wait a few days, etc. before
actually ordering?

I realize that they MUST sign-up with PayPal, but i'm
just wondering if the process is just too long for
customers. Does anyone have any experience with this? I
asked many questions like this by email w/ Paypal, but
their answers don't help, i can't respond to an answer,
someone different answers me every time, and it takes far
too long for them to respond.

Thanks for your help!

IIRC, the sign-up process for PayPal was fairly quick and painless, at least
for credit card payments.

Thanks, Colin for your reply...

So you're saying that if a "NEW" PayPal user purchases
something, he/she will be able to do so without a lengthy
signup process?

If you have personal experience with this, could you give
a brief description of what the first-time Paypal user
would go through to buy from my site?

Thanks so much!
John

Yes, first time buyers is not a problem. You put your email address and
credit card information into paypal just like you would an other place.

A client wants the payment process with OSCommerce to use PayPal , however every time it asks for all the registration information twice. Does anyone know if theres a way to overcome this? Is there a way of getting PayPal to just ask for payment information and to auto-fill the name/address fields from the OSCommerce side? Cheers

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
