If I submit my for using a get action the resulting page loads . If I
use a post action I get an error page saying "The page cannot be
found". I am calling the originating page!!! This happens in IE as
well as FireFox.
This code has been tested on a Win2003 server, IIS6, PHP 5.0.3, mySQL
4.1.8 and it works fine.
The problem server is a Win2k server, IIS5, PHP 5.0.4, mySQL 4.1.11.

How can I POST a form into a new window where I control the size and
other attributes of the new window?
Also. Are there any implications, perhaps due to browser security
(Interne Explorer?) that could cause problems if I try to post a form
at www.mydomain.com to www.anotherdomain.com?

Hi,
I am working on a genealogy form. The only table (so far) lists everybody
in the family, one record per person. Each record has an autonum ID.
The parent form (frmMainForm) displays the data in each record, which
includes the ID of the father and the mother (who also have records in the
table). One record per form.
I have a Tab Control in the form, and in one of the tabs I have a subform
(sfmSiblings) in which I wish to list...

I need to be able to print the current form because the form has an
embedded object of a .gif file, so report will not work -- does anyone
know the way to do this? I tried some code, not sure what it was now,
guess docmd.printout or something but that prints ALL the forms --
also the each page of the form does not always start at the next page
even if allowcontinuousforms is set to no. The preview button previews
all the forms as well,...

Hi,
I hope someone can help.
I have a main form which mostly fills the Access window. In the bottom half
of this form I have a tab control to display various types of data related
to the main form record. In each page of the tab control, there are three
buttons: Add, Update, Delete. Any of these buttons will open another,
smaller form to add, update or delete the related data record.
Originally, I had placed the smaller form such...

I have some old code that I use from the Access 95 Developers handbook. The
code works very well, with the exception that it doesn't seem to recognize
wide screens, and sizes tab controls so that they are too big and wind up
covering up some of the fields on the main form.
Is there any good code out there that works in a similar fashion that will
also either a) stretch the form width wise on widescreens or b), rely on
height rather than...

Hi,
I have a form for uploading documents and inserting the data into a mysql
db. I would like to validate the form. I have tried a couple of Javascript
form validation functions, but it appears that the data goes straight to the
processing page, rather than the javascript seeing if data is missing and
popping up an alert. I thought it may be because much of the form is
populated with data from the db (lists, etc.), but when I leave...

Hi,
I have a panel that I load user Control in no problem. The problem
arrises when I do a post back on one of these user controls. I have
button it does a click event. In this click event I will do some
database updates, then I will use reflection to call a method in the
parent (this.page) to load the new user control. Its at this point
after it loads the new user control that it throws the error "The
control must be placed inside...

I have a question concerning the need to trigger events within a "child" subform which is itself enbedded within a master "parent" form and which is accessible via a tab in the parent form. Becuase this is all very difficult to explain in words, please bear with me as I endevour to explain what it is I am trying to do. It would be helpful if I could attach a graphics file to this posting that would help explain what it is I'm trying to achieve...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
