I noticed that there are some special piece of comments in the source-code
generated by Visual Studio.NET when we create a new C# projects.
These comments comes with tags like
/// <summary>
/// Clean up any resources being used.
/// </summary>
What is the purpose of tags <summary> ?

I have a problem displaying a divbox containing a html-textarea -
everything works fine with "normal" characters. However, when the
textarea contains special chars like <P> or ' , the box fails to show:
function show(divbox)
{
divbox.style.display='';
}

Hi,
How do i add a hyperlink to a email id having special characters?
I tried the same , say mailto: test_&_send@hoohoo.com
IN the to box i can see only till test_ and the rest is omitted.
Any ideas how the tags could be bypassed?
Though i am not a web page designer, I tried & but with no luck.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

A browser conforming to HTML 4.0 is required to recognize &#number;
notations.
If I use XHTML 1.0 and charset UTF-8 though, does é have as much
support as é ?
Sometimes when I run the TIDY utility on my code, it replaces my character
notations with weird looking things I don't recognize. Also, when I
converted to UTF-8 from ISO-8859-1, I discovered many special characters

Hi,
I am currently writing a simple PHP program that uses an XML file to
output rows for a 'Whats New' page. Once written, I will only require
updating the XML file and any pages that use the XML file will get
their row content from there. The rows may look some thing similar to
this:
- Added <a>mailing list</a> functionality to <a>homepage</a>
- Competition winners announced, click <a>here</a>

Hello Everyone,
I have written a simple app. that converts the dataset into
excelspreadsheet.
The App. uses the following architecture.
First it generates the dataset with corresponding datatables(each
datatable represents a worksheet).It uses an Xslt file to do the
transformation of the xml (generate from dataset) and write the
output xml into a xmltextwriter.
The App converts the data into excel with almost all of the formatting

I have a text box and I want to let the users insert HTML Tags in the tags.
It does not work and breaks if there are any HTML Tags inside the text.
Is there any way I can enable HTML tags to be part of the input text?
Thanks,

I want to send html formatted text yet strip out special characters
(e.g. quotes and semi colons). I've seen preg_replace examples like
$messageout = preg_replace('/\(\)<>]/i','',$message); to
preserve some additional characters but don't know how to approach
preserving html in general.
This is a typical message line: $message.= "<b>Date: </b>" . $today .
"<br />";
I am setting these headers:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
