I am guessing I would hold a variable of when it's opened, then in the
script that runs when the page is offloaded, I coudl calcualte it.
How do you store a time variable?
How do you calculate the amount of time (seconds) based on two timestamps?

I have a WebForm button. Depending on calculation I wont to send a popup
message to the web page. I am not sure of the approach. From the server
side code I don't seem to be able to access the client side script. Can

I have a problem conserning Inter. dev. 6. when working fast in Visual
studio and saving the data in *.inc, the data is not always saved in the
actual file but in some temporal Frontpage serverextention catalog, this
results in a "hidden feature" that the page wont show the new content but
the old and wont change the content unless you write a longer text on the
actual place where the changes wont show... Can some one give me a tiop...

Hello All,
I would like to prevent users from posting data through the saved page at
their disk.
Like a web page is saved to their c: drive and user opens it , change/remove
validation code and then submit.
This is not about clicking submit buttuon twice.
Any help on this?

I've just written my first independent namespace for my library (yay me!).
However, on trying to add it to my website project, it causes an error when I
look at the website. It compiles ok though...
The error message is...
"The located assembly's manifest definition with name

I have been working with ASP classic on this current project im
involved in. Well the problem im facing now is there is a page where a
flash movie should play in a particular section on the page but it wont
play on the secure pages, on the unsecure pages it plays fine. I had
added an Active X work in accordance with the Lawsuit issue but it
still wont play. Has any body faced this problem and if so could you
point me in the right...

i have designed a data access page and it works fine connecting to the
database on my computer but when i change the connection to connect to
my database on my web server it wont connect.the database on my website
works fine with connections using Frontpage but wont work with a data
access page ??

Hi all,
Can some one help me if it is possible to refresh a part of a page,
without reloading the whole page. Let's say, i want to add a small
message box to my webpage. After writing a message, the user presses
the send button and i want only this part of the page to refresh and
give him a status message saying his message was successfully received.
If yes, how can i do it ??

Hey Everyone
I have a problem, that just wont seem to go away. Here is the setup, i has one outer div with two divs inside, one large on the left and a small div on the right, i need the div on the right to meet the bottom of the outer div, and to always flow with it. No matter what i seem to do, the div just wont flow with the outer div, and just stay at the top of the right div.
So i thought i would ask here, see if anyone has an idea's...
