FLASH MOVIE WONT PLAY ON SECURE ASP PAGE

I have been working with ASP classic on this current project im
involved in. Well the problem im facing now is there is a page where a
flash movie should play in a particular section on the page but it wont
play on the secure pages, on the unsecure pages it plays fine. I had
added an Active X work in accordance with the Lawsuit issue but it
still wont play. Has any body faced this problem and if so could you
point me in the right direction? Thanks

My guess is that you will have the same problem using
https://.../flashpage.html, https://.../flashpage.php, etc. In other words,
the problem is client-side (most likely Flash or IE) and has nothing to do
with the fact that you're using ASP. I suggest you hit up a Flash newsgroup
or forum to see if anyone else has seen this problem.

Hi all, This is what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to load a flash movie transparently over my existing html page (not covering the full screen, but 75% of it), so it is kind of similar to a "splash screen" in the respect it is to be an introductory screen. I already have a flash movie made (although for some reason WMODE=TRANSPARENT isn't working), but we'll get to that in a sec. I also already have all the html for the playing the...

Hi everybody ! I have a problem with a Flash movie. I just want to put an existing ..swf-file into my aspx web form. I've added the "Shockwave Flash object" COM component to the toolbox list, (the web forms tab), and I drag it from the toolbox menu and drop it the table cell where I want it displayed. I then just change the auto generated code to set the source to my ..swf-file. <PARAM NAME="Movie" VALUE="images/myFlashMovie.swf">

Inserting a Flash (SWF, FLV) file into HTML web page is already an old and familiar thing to all of us. It is a rather non-flexible thing that just to edit some options in the template. However, I did not understand some parameters totally in the HTML tag. These days when I was surfing the Internet I have found some comprehensive introduction to these two tags. I read it and conclude it with my own words; I think it will be useful to us, so I...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
