Hi all i am just starting to get back into VB and i need a little help.
I am writing a program that asks a user to type in a set of numbers/letters
(in this case shipping containers).
Once the data is entered i have my 4 letters and i want to be able to call
up data relating to the 4 letters.
Basically i want it to show who the container belongs to and any other data
i wish to put in there relating to the container.

Below is some ASP, HTML and javascript. It is part of a page used to
maintain a small database. This code did work at one time, but has since
stopped. For some reason the data on my form is not being passed to the page
specified in the Action property of the form. This is on a Windows 2000 Pro
PC.
I copied the code to another server (Windows XP Pro machine) and it DOES
work as expected there.

Hi.
A client of mine has a website with a standard "Contact Us" form page with
name, address etc.
The information is currently sent via email to the client and is then data
entered into their Access (2000) system.
I am sure there is a better way of doing this.

Our website contains session variables that are used to validate if a user is
logged in etc. We have found that these variables are randomly lost while
navigating the website.
We set up some basic code (as shown below) which used a meta tag to refresh
an aspx page every second. It tests whether there is any content in a
session variable, if not then it writes a timestamp to a text file, recreates
the data in the variable and continues....

I am trying to put together the last major pieces of my project's
puzzle. This is more website/client-side architecture than
JavaScript syntax but I hope this is a good place to ask. I'm a little
stumped with which direction to take and advice would be greatly

I'm working with a company that is tracking my vihicle and they have an API that will allow me to log into their database and retrieve the location of my vihicle, which is returned to their website as an XML response.
My question is: Is there way to get the data that is returned in the response so I can use that data on my website. I tried talking to them but they don't have any tech people there. Plus I would rather the response didn't show...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
