I have created 2 ASP pages that gives users the option of switching
back and forth between French and English. They click on the word
English and it converted the text to English and the French link
converts the text to French. In the ASP page with the form on it there
is an includes file pointing to the scripts page. The scripts page
holds the values for both languages. It works great in ASP but as soon
as I rename the page to a .aspx...

I wonder if anyone might be able to help me on this one. I am using
MSXML3 in ASP to do a POST to a JSP page that's on the same server as my
ASP page. The error I get is:
msxml3.dll error '80072efd'
A connection with the server could not be established
/xmlhttp.asp, line 19
Line 19 reads, "xmlhttp.send PostString" and PostString is a valid POST
string.

Hi,
We have a situation where we want to move our current database
server to a different hardware and rename the server.
If we change the Physical server name, do we have to go thru the whole
process of changing it in sql server by running sp_dropserver,
sp_addserver?
Can we have an alias for the server name in DNS and can sql server
resolve the server name internally by going thru DNS?
For eg: Our current database server name is...

I'm a newbie here and was wondering anyone could help me with this.
I have a simple ASP.NET 2 web application running perfectly fine with
IIS and SQLServerExpress installed locally on my WinXP as a testing
server (I created the app in Visual Studio.NET 2005).
When deploying this app on the production server (running Win2000
Server, IIS and SQLServerExpress 2005), I'm getting the following

WindowsIdentity wi = WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent();
Concerning 'wi.Groups'
will get me 'id'-like values such as
"S-1-5-21-141028557-4071250340-2647578567-1028"
Anyone know how I can resolve that to get the groups name? rather than
this long string identifier?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
