There are a couple possible reasons for the problem, but in the end your web server is not trying to run the script. So first, is your web server capable of running the script (that pretty much necessitates using Microsoft IIS as the server) and is ASP scripting turned on (by default new installs of IIS have ASP disabled, b ut this is easy to turn on if you have access to the server.

Hi, Given a page source, is there any tool that can make a sketch of the page structure? Our template is DIV based. It's easy to get lost in so many DIV's. Say, <div id="container"can include other DIV's (e.g. nav, content, righ-column, footer, etc.). Just by staring at the page source, it's so hard to find the closing </divfor <div...

hi there, so i vaguely remember viewing the source code to some internet sites, which appeared much shorter compared to the lengthy, complex content that was actually displayed... i'd like to know if there's a way to hide the script portion (or all portions) of an internet site from being viewed in a browser's "View Page Source"... thanks.

Hi. I am trying to screen scrape some stock data from yahoo, so I am trying to use urllib2 to retrieve the html and beautiful soup for the parsing.
