Hiding duplicate value in asp

2 New Member
Hi all,
I'm really new to this forum, please help.
I have a join query with output like this:

Nama Grd Math English
Jon 1 7.5 8.0
Jon 2 7.0 7.5
Ana 1 6.0 7.0
Ana 2 7.0 8.0

How to hide duplicate name (Jon and Ana) so the output only shows one name?

Nama Grd Math English
Jon 1 7.5 8.0
2 7.0 7.5
Ana 1 6.0 7.0
2 7.0 8.0

Thanks,
aaronzz

Hi,

You can try using Distinct in the select clause to avoid duplicates.

I have a script which I use to find all duplicates of files within a given directory and all its subdirectories. It seems like it's longer than it needs to be but I can't figure out how to shorten it. Perhaps there are some python features or libraries I'm not taking advantage of. The way it works is that it puts references to all the files in a dictionary with file size being the key. The dictionary can hold multiple values per key....

Hi All, I'm trying to make an assembly in C# to use as a COM server. I'm building as normal and ruinning regasm at the end. Everything is generally working, except that I'm having a problem hiding some generic implementation base classes from the type library exporter. Here is a code sample: -------------------------------------------------------

I searched here for an answer. I am entering records into a database, and it would save a lot of time if I could duplicate a record that is very similar to the new one I am about to enter, then make one or two changes to the new one. This is the problem I have with Access. Look at this answer! >Private Sub btnCopy_Click() >On Error GoTo handle_error > Set cnxn = CurrentProject.Connection > Set rs = New ADODB.Recordset

Hi I have a question regarding this concept I learned about recently: Name Hiding. Here's what I've come across: There is a base class with two functions with the same name but different signature. A class inherits publicly from this base class and redefines one of the two functions in the derived class. In that case, a derived class object cannot access the other base class function that it hasn't redefined. I'm posting a code snippet...

i am trying to show and hide a div when onmouseover and onmouseover another div element. i am setting a setTimeout duration on onmouseout to delay the hiding of div for around two second The problem is that when i mouseover an element and then onmouseout it and then back again mouseovers that element before the timeout, the element still gets hidden so i put a flag=1 when i mouseover the element and flag=0 at mouseout and checked the value...

Hi, first, python is one of my fav languages, and i'll definitely keep developing with it. But, there's 1 one thing what I -really- miss: data hiding. I know member vars are private when you prefix them with 2 underscores, but I hate prefixing my vars, I'd rather add a keyword before it. Python advertises himself as a full OOP language, but why does it miss one of the basic principles of OOP? Will it ever be added to python?

Hello group, I'm trying to become familiar with the information hiding design rules, and I have a lot (3) of questions for all you experts. AFAIK, a generic module has 2 files: ================ module.h ================ #ifndef __MODULE_HDR_INCLUDED__

Hi, I have a PHP script that does some processing, and stores an error message as a variable. The script then redirects to another script with the error string in the URL, with the second script displaying the message and continues with the rest of the logic. Now I want to hide the error message from the URL, but the second script needs to continue working as is. How can I do this? I have thought about md5'ing the message but the URLs...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
