Hi folks, I don't know what the block attribute means. The final attribute looks like to be simple: I can prevent derivations. Did I write final="restriction" and I restrict it in another complexType XML Spy said, that it's wrong - fine. But my "block" examples don't work: Schema:

Hello. This is problem puzzled me a long time. I wish to organize some block elements and let them flow one after each other like text. Think about a album, I wish the album have 12 thumbnails, each one has a comment line under the picture. And I wish when the screen size is big, this thumbnails arrange 3 rows, 4 columns; if the browser window is smaller, arranges 4 rows, 3 columns; if it's even smaller, 6 rows with 2 columns. If there...

Say I have a childThread currently is running a finally block to cleanup external resources. At the same time the main thread calls childThread.Abort(). The question is: when the ThreadAbortException is thrown, does the childThread finish the remaining code in the finally block?

I'm trying to learn how to read a DTD I wanted to use, http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd to ensure I was treating each element correctly in terms of being block, inline, or flow (either). <!ENTITY % block "P | %heading; | %list; | %preformatted; | DL | DIV | NOSCRIPT | BLOCKQUOTE | FORM | HR | TABLE | FIELDSET | ADDRESS"> <!ENTITY % flow "%block; | %inline;">

Using javascript closures to create singletons to ensure the survival of a reference to an HTML block when removeChild() may remove the last reference to the block and thus destory the block is what I'm hoping to achieve. I've never before had to use Javascript closures, but now I do, so I'm making an effort to understand them. I've been giving this essay a re-read: http://jibbering.com/faq/faq_notes/closures.html

That is, what's the difference between <complexType name="Address" final="restriction"> <sequence> <element name="name" type="string"/> <element name="street" type="string"/> <element name="city" type="string"/> </sequence> </complexType> and <complexType name="Address" block="restriction">

Hi, I'm a bit confused about the definition about "Prinicpal Block Boxes" in CSS 2.1 draft specification. ( http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-CSS21-20061106 ) <pre> 9.2.1 Block-level elements and block boxes The principal block box establishes the containing block for descendant boxes and generated

This is the idea Block = pack("240s", "") Block = pack(">H", W) Block = pack(">H", X) Block = pack(">B", Y) Block = pack(">H", Z)) but, of course, Block, a str, can't be sliced. The real use of this is a bit more complicated such that I can't just fill in all of the "fields"

hello, Rather than going on a wild explanation on what's the the problem, it'll be much quicker and easier if i let you look at it yourself, so I'll post my page source (actual contents taken out, of course). <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us" />

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
