I recenetly purchased VB.net standard and in the box was
a card saying that it included crystal reports (as it
always used to) but I cannot find CR in the templates or
in the toolbox. Can anyone tell me where I can download
it, or how I might install it if it is already there.
Thanks

Hi,
Is it possible to have different Select Expert formula for
different column or Fields at once? I can't figure out
how to calculate totals for different fields such as count
and total of sales for different years WHILE excluding
details (rows) having values of 0 for sales.
For example if I want to count and sum each record for
each year while EXCLUDING records having Sales of $0:

Using ideas provided by some of you I was able to figure out how to get the
names of the parameters fields of a crystal report specified at run time.
The code below just basically puts the data into a comboBox. One thing I
noticed, however, is that this method shows me both the parameters used by
the main report and parameters used by the sub-report(s).

hi there, I have a windows based program in visual studio 2005 using C# and sql server 2005 as backend.
It's the first time I am trying to use Crystal reports, from what I have now is simply a table from the database and the crystal report viewer displays the entire table. I'ved been searching to see where I can enter a select statement that will allow me to decide which data I get on the report. So far I've read about Select Expert that's...

Using V.Studio .net 2003 and .Net Framework v1.1, I have successfully created
a number of Crystal Reports (v9.1.5 is bundled with it) that use the
cross-tab object, and all was copacetic: for some time now, the users have
been using the asp.net app to access and generate the reports OK. Recently
my boss asked me to modify the cross-tab to add a formula. In V.Studio, this
is accomplished by right-clicking the crosstab obj and selecting...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
