Hi all
I am having trouble, let's say, I have a form text field, and I want
to pass it to the next page, however, I don not want to use submitted
button, instead I want to have a variable in link and pass that
variable to the next page
see below code
<form name="form1" method="post" action="">
name
<input type="text" name="name">
</form>
<%
name = Server.URLEncod e("# wei")
%>
<a href="asp1.asp? name=<%=name%>& form=<%name%>"> next</a>
is there any way to pass those variable to the next page without
having the submitted button
thanks in advance 1 2364
They will be passed on if they click on the link. All you have to do is
have that page read the values.

I'm learning to design web applications with php, mysql, and apache
from a book. I copied a sample application called guestbook 2000 that
came with the CD in the book to my htdocs folder, but couldn't get the
sign guestbook page (sign.php) to work. This page first checks the
value of the $submit variable. If it is not "Sign", the page displays
a blank form for the guest to sign. If it is "Sign", the page process
the form information and...

OK, this may be impossible since I'm using 3rd party shopping cart ASP
software, but I've been able to finagle a lot of other stuff I thought
wouldn't work, so here we go:
I'm using a form in which users enter numbers to be calculated into a square
footage cost. Upon submitting, the results page uses ASP to give the total
and the chance to add the new totalled item to the cart or try a new
calculation. Part of the cart's software has a...

In ASP, when we pass data between pages, we usually pass by query string. If
we pass data by query string, that means we need to use submit button, not
by regular button, and the form will pass to the server since it's GET or
POST request. But if just form-to-form communication, why we need to send
the form to the server? Please help clarify. Thanks!!
<form action="process.asp" method="get">
//form controls

during this function i also set a varaible to "Y" due to that this function

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
