Hi All
I have been trying to add a control to the header cell of
a datagrid on my ASP.NET page. These controls are defined
in the HTML as ASP.NET web controls.
They are being added into the header of the datagrid in
the "ItemDataBound" method of the grid. However, once,
they are added in the grid, i seem to lose the event
handler for the same control. Is there anyone who has
tried this before and knows why this is hapenning ??

Sorry if this is a cross-post.
Wondering if there is any way to genrate Windows UI from an xml file just as
one would load a Web UI as HTML from an XML using XSLT. Please do let me
know if you have any ideas. Assume that the xml contains UI info (i.e.,
which is the control to display the info on etc). One obvious, but tedious
way is to manually parse the xml and generate controls using new() and fill
in data, but am looking for more...

I have a form that has a 'sub-form' in it that updates a separate table.
I can easily add records to this table from within this page. To delete,
though, I've been redirecting to a different 'delete' page where it asks for
confirmation before deleting. This works, but the problem is that I loose my
postback information from the main page. Since this is just a small bit of a

Hi there,
I am about to build a small db in Access. Among the tables I plan to
have are a Person table, an Event table, and an EventRegistration
table.
The EventRegistration table will contain the information gathered when
someone registers for one of our courses. Some of the information will
be gathered from each of the other two tables, and some will be new
information, entered manually at the time of registration.

Suppose I have a Cookie class and a Factory Class. There are many types of
Cookies and maybe one or more Factories with a ProcessCookie Method. Suppose
all the PutInBox method does is decide what colour box to put the cookie
into. But since the colour of the box depends on whatever Factory is boxing
them (Different branding etc) the PutInBox method can't be in the Cookie
class and has to be in the Factory class. The problem is pretty soon...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
