Script errors in ASP

I have started to get the following error of late.

Does anyone know why this happens?
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01fb'

An exception occurred: 'RS.Open'

/viewmyholidays. asp, line 17

I am running IIS on Windows 2000. The only thing that has changed in last
4-5 days is I have intalled Microsoft XML parser.

Any ideas!!!

Hello! Curious if anyone could give me a hand. I wrote this PHP script with makes a simple connection to a mysql database called firstdb and just pulls back the results and displays on the webpage. Here is the script. I appreciate any light that could be shed on the script and why I would get the errors. Thank you,

HI I am wondering if anyone can help me I added a little script to a form page, so that a couple of fields have to filled in. One contains an obligatory field for number data, one for regular text. However it seems that when a user will just enter a few spaces in the required, they seem to be able to pass the validation script.

I'm using window.open method in my script to open poup window. Recently Internet Explorer users reported that the script crashes on their machine with different runtime errors. See the bug: <http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;888021> The statement like myPopup = window.open(args); gives you runtime error and halts the script execution *if a 3rd party

Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to disable script debugging in IE from within a script. I know I can disable it manually through the IE tools menu, but is it possible to disable it from within a script? e.g. debug = false; or something? I've googled, but all the results show the manual way through the tools menu.

Note: You may skip to the end of the article if all you want is the perl code. Introduction Many websites have a form or a link you can use to download a file. You click a form button or click on a link and after a moment or two a file download dialog box pops-up in your web browser and prompts you for some instructions, such as “open” or “save“. I’m going to show you how to do that using a perl script. What You Need Any recent...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
