Anyone know how to send a message to a cell phone?

I have a situation where I need to send a text message to a cell phone.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Couple options. Most likely though find a site that has this as a service
(preferably free) or a component to communicate through them. At that point
they (the site) will usually give you all the code you need to do this.

Most carriers handle this through email - simply send an email to the
phone's email address. Consult with the carrier's web site for more
detailed instructions. AT&T Wireless for example:
http://www.attwireless.com/personal/...tmessage.jhtml

Talk to the cell company. In our case it's just an email to a special
address that goes out via text messaging.

Your story could be true in the States.

However in general it is not.

What I mean is, if using an international NG, do not assume the groupers to
know that you are talking about stateside solutions, if you don's even put
your country in your signature.

pretty simple... but you have to know the mobile carrier...

<phoneNumber>@< domain>

Verizon = vtext.com
ATT = mobile.att.net
Sprint = message.sprintp cs.com
Nextel = message.nextel. com
T-Mobile = tmomail.net
cingular = mobile.mycingul ar.net
AllTel = message.alltel. com

i.e. 85********@vtex t.com

Hi,
I have a situation where I need to send a text message to a cell phone.

Any ideas?

In many cases you can send a text message to a cell phone using an email address
there are a number of addresses for various carriers at -
http://www.notepage.net/smtp.htm this however is not the most reliable way to
text message (and not all carriers support SMTP to phone). If you are looking
for an alternative you may want to consider using software. There is evaluation
software that will send text messages various ways at
http://www.notepage.net/software.htm

Good luck

Jonathan

I'm not a programmer and I don't have the time and energy to start learning right now So I need some help. Let's say I have made an HTML Table (consisting of three columns and six rows). In each cell, in the first column I have put in an image (six different ones). In the second column I have merged all six cells into one cell and there put in an image matching the background colour. In the right column I have again put in six different...

You may have already had this question: I want to link my laptop to my cell phone and connect to a dial up ISP. The laptop to cell phone link is already commercially available, but for another use. The problem is the laptop modem wants a dial tone to begin communication. Is there a driver or a program to allow communication with the ISP via a cell phone? This idea came to me while sitting in an airport waiting for a data port.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
