Validate my ASP code?

Is there a program or website that will validate my asp pages? Kind
of like how html pages can be validated on
http://www2.imagiware.com/RxHTML/ and on http://netmechanic.com/

Thanks.

Sure. Your end users will validate your code better than any software: if
your application breaks, they'll let you know.

If what you're wanting to validate is your ASP code, a peer review is best.
If you're wanting to validate the HTML output of your ASP code, then
apparently you already two sources.

Well this helps a little:

Option Explicit

Use of the above forces vars to be dimmed before using.

Greetings All If this is the wrong place to post this question, please give me a push in the right direction. Thanks. I know there has to be a simpler way to do this, but this is as simple a way as I could come up with. Yes, it's obvious I don't know what I'm doing. I'm creating an XSD string and an XML string at runtime (ie: NOT read

I have a large record with many enumerated fields. The record is stored in a file and the fields have to be extracted. I validate the data as it's read, but there's so many tests similar to the following that I wondered if it's possible to create a single generic function to perform the validation. Just to keep code size down if nothing else. I'm not that experienced with .net yet so I don't know what's possible. example code reader is...

Hi, I'm trying to validate my xml against a xsd but I can't get it to work. Originally, I wanted to validate an xml string but since I didn't get that to work I tried to validate an xml file instead. Didn't work either. Actuallty, the xml gets loaded but there are no events raised that says my xml is incorrect! I'm using .NET 2.0 and my code is listed below. ALL help is appreciated! Thanks!

Hi, I have some php pages with a lot of HTML code. I am looking for a HTML validator tool (like TIDY). TIDY is not good enough with PHP tags (it removes a lot of php code). Do you have any idea? Thanks you very much

I have a form that i've split up into multiple asp:panels, each panel has a number of validators which work correctly. At on the last panel, i want to commit the data collected to a database. I figured since all the panel data is still being sent through the postbacks, instead of using Sessions, or HttpContext, I could just take the values from the textboxes. This all works fine, except for security. I realized that I could inject...

I am a novice when comes to JavaScript, AJAX. I am working on a form, which will allow users to update their contact information. In order to make the form flexible, I need to use pull down list. Depends on the pull down list selection, I use script.aculo.us to validate the user input before submit and pass the necessary data, such as contact type, contact information and ranking to a php program for updating. This form should allow multiple...

Please forgive the cross-post to multiple forums. I did it intentionally, but I *think* it was appropriate given the nature of my question. I'm working on an open source code library to help automate and clean up parameter validation code. It's almost ready to go into open beta. But one last little glitch is holding me up, and that would be the name of the factory class that serves as the entry point into the library: Validate.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
