Microsoft Search/Content Indexing Service is quite powerful and is probably

I would like to redesign my existing site into php using classes. I am not the most experienced developer with PHP, and would like to know if anyone can give me some input on a starting point for a class library. Basically, the idea is to have as much of the content served dynamically, using a mySQL database. My catalog site has grown to over 1,100 pages, and is continuing to grow. It's getting ridiculous to keep performing manual...

Sorry if this isn't the right NG for this.... What is involved in providing a small text box and submit button on my homepage that will provide site searching capabilities? I know that Index Server plays the role of cataloging the text, but I mean how do I programmatically pass the search phrase to Index Server and receive back results?

Hi, Ok, I find myself having a lot of troubles with URL Rewriting and I've seen on the net that in some situations, indexers have difficulty indexing sites because of some flaws in the url rewriting mecanism... Does anybody have a solution to my problem? I mean, I want to be able to localize my web site without having to dupplicate all the pages in 2-3 (fr, en, sp(optional)) directories and so the indexers can index the right content...

I was building a "hello world" application in ASP.NET and during the construction of the same it attempted to access the above site, owned by Microsoft. Webroot Spy Sweeper, which resides on my system, blocked the connection and lists the site as a known malware site. Why is this and has anybody else had this happen? Ordinarily Webroot is very reliable. RL

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
