Hi! I have a problem displaying some values in a datagrid. I have an array that consists of a number of objects. Each object has 2 properties: Name and a list of web addresses. (e.g: Name: "Test", URLs: {"address1", "adress2"...}). How can I implement this using Visual Studio? I'd also like to be able to edit the properties so I'm hoping to be able to use the standard routines that are available in the datagrid.

Hi, I am using vb.net and visual studio 2003. I have dragged a table webcontrol onto the designer server and configured a few columns and cells in the editor for the table control. Next I wanted to do things like add textbox websever controls to the individual cells. However, the designer will not allow me to drag controls from the toolbox to tinside the newly generated table.

Hi all, Can someone kindly enough point me to some situations that we shall or "must" use Generic Class? I can foresee the Generic Method is powerful, but I can not find a single situation that I will need the Generic Class, given there are so many other options. -- cheers,

I have made a music player in a pop up with JavaScript. It uses frames to write the object into an unseen page. Here's an example of the page the user first sees. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/2002/REC-xhtml1-20020801/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en"> <head> <title>User Page</title>

Hello, What is a good approach to PostgreSQL backups? (yep, a newbie) (The server crashed and IT was not able to bring it back from the Acronis images - so rebuilding from scratch - ugh! - want to have a secondary system, that lesson is learnt!) Ideally, having the compressed backup that pgAdmin is able to do run on some sort of Task Scheduler would be ideal... but seemingly no functionality for this... So presumably write a DOS...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
