I'm pretty new to php\linux and I'm trying to encrypt a file using gpg from
a php page on a linux box and it's not working. The following code works
for executing 'ls', but not gpg...
$descriptorspec = array(
0 => array("pipe", "r"), // stdin is a pipe that the child will read
from
1 => array("pipe", "w"), // stdout is a pipe that the child will write
to
2 => array("file", "/tmp/error-output.txt", "a") // stderr is a file to

I have read and tried every combination for hours. I'm sorry, but I
don't get it. How do I have a form with textboxes and buttons and
allow click events to execute a server function then display a
property on the client?
Here is code, albeit changed to show both paths I have tried to
follow, neither of which works. I also can't seem to find out how to
trap for the errors so I can see what's going wrong.
<%@ Language=VBScript %>

I used to execute a command line script in IIS 4 using Dynuexec. This
is a third part server object I installed on the server
(http://www.dynu.com/dynuexec.asp). I installed this object onto my
Windows 2003 Server and I cannot run the script from an ASP. No error
is generated on the screen or in the event log. I think this has
something to do with IIS not being able to access cmd.exe from IIS or
maybe with COM permissions? Not sure though....

Hi all,
I want to execute a String that is generated at Runtime and fills data in
DropDownList Controls at Runtime. I want to do this at server side. As Eval
functions works as client side function and there is not other function or
command to do this
example is here..
("ddlSub" & CStr(nRow) & ".DataSource = dtrSubject")
I want to evaluate this string to get name of control at runtime e.g.
ddlSub1, ddlSub2, ddlSub3 and so on

Hi
I develop a client/server application using webservices.
So, I have a client app and a webservice that responds to client app
requests - nothin' new.
In certain circumstances (namely, when importing data) I want some
compiled code located in client app to be *transferred* to the
webservice, optionally to make some bindings to the server side and to
execute that code.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
