I have an asp page that builds a calendar made up of images for each
day. When a user selects a day, javascript changes the day selected
and the next 2 days' images to a "booked" image. I place the day's
value into a hidden form variable, so that when the user bounces around
different months (same page), then comes back to the month with a date
selected, the page will remember the day and show the "booked" images
for the day already selected.
After the user comes back to the month where a day was selected and
decides to change the day, then move forward in the "booking" process,
but then presses the back button, the page remembers the previous day
selected.
When the back button is pressed, how can I code the page to view the
new day selected?

The back button navigates to the page that is cached in the user's
history. Ensure the page isn't cached and use session variables

Hello everybody,
I have some code that disables form elements on body load, but I notice
when I hit the "back" button, I need to re-enable the form elements
(that is done by clicking on a radial button). Is there any way I can
keep the form for disabling every time a user hits the back button and
"remember" what elements should be enabled? I was thinking maybe
utilizing some referrer thing, but I'm not that good with JS yet.

I've been able to essentially disable the back button on IE6 by
expiring the cache. I would like to do the same for the browser
that runs on pocketPC. I believe it is IE4. However this technique
doesn't seem to work. Anyone know how I might try to keep the
back button from showing previous pages of this application?

Hi,
In one of my pages, I use javascript (AJAX) to populate one mulitple
select field based on user's click event on another control. I noticed
that when I navigate back to this page by clicking browser's "Back"
button, the changes made to the multiple select is not preserved. (It
shows the initial value). While all the other user selections are
preserved.
Firefox seems fine.
How do I workaround this issue for IE?
