Hello!
I'm trying to set up a page system using "dynamic" SSI. That means that I
normally use the following on my website:
<!--#include virtual="file.inc" -->
Now I want to make this "dynamic" and I don't have a clue how to do so.
I want to link to a file using something like this:
<a href="file.shtml?dynamic">Link</a>

I have been working for quite some time on this issue which in theory
should be quite simple. The problem is that the Cancel and Save
events are not fired when their respective buttons are clicked.
I have read several posts which say to put your column generating
section in the Page_Init section and it will solve the
problem....however, it hasn't solved mine.
Can somebody please take a look at this and provide any insight if
possible?

Hello,
I am just experimenting with master pages, and am trying to add a
content placeholder in the <head> section, so that individual pages can
set their own page title and meta tags. The master page looks like

<%@ Master Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true"
CodeFile="MasterPage.master.cs" Inherits="MasterPage" %>

Dear all,
Technically, what dynamic web page really means.
Is it simply due to the fact that the content can be change without
recompiling the web application by simply changing for example data base
fields ?
thnaks for your clarification

Hello all,
I feel dumb having to ask this question in the first place, but I just
can not figure it out. I am wanting to set my site up using dynamic
urls (I'm assuming that's what they're called, an example of what I
have in mind is index.php?page=). However, I can not figure
out how to do this. I will eventually want to use SEF urls, but for now
I'll be content just to have the dynamic urls. If anyone can tell me
how to do this, I'd...

I'm doing some text swapping with javascript, got it working fine, but
I would like the line to have line breaks and being a beginner, I
don't even know if this is possible.
So I have a line like this
swaptext('Shaun, Greg, Violet, Joel, 1999')";
and I would like 1999 to be on a new line. Is there a simple way to do
this? I'd swear I've seen a way, but now I can't seem to find it.

I have a big list of HTML files, which need to be updated with a
common text.
<script language=JavaScript
src="./highlight.js"></script>
I need to add the above line in each of the html files, before the
text "<\head>". All the HTML files have this text and I think some
kind of search on this string and either replacing "</head>" with the

Hi.
This is just a disaster management question.
I am using XMLHTTP for the dynamic loading of content in a very
crucial area of my web site. Same as an IFrame, but using XMLHTTP and
a DIV. I got the core of the javascript from here:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ajaxcontent.htm
I noticed in the demo that sometimes the content takes a long

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
