Cannot browse ASP locally on one particular web

Hello,

ASP does not work locally on my main web site when I
browse the machine locally at the console itself, but to
the outside world all is fine, and ASP executes normally.

I have 4 other virtual webs on this server and I can
browse ASP pages fine, locally. We need this working for a
search engine product that is failing when trying to
execute URLs against this virtual web site, locally.

I ran a filemon and here is some interesting output of

If you can see htm but not ASP, your resolution is fine. Perhaps the issue
is this. http://www.aspfaq.com/2147

This a vanilla IIS box within a DMZ. It has no outbound
http access. Its behind a Raptor SW based firewall with a
10.x.x.x address.

HTM files work fine.

ASP do not.

So strange.

I really think that its not resolving DNS because of
severe lockdown within DMZ. But what does that have to do
with ASP/IIS?

Ugh.

-----Original Message-----
How are the site names resolved? DNS? WINS? etc. Do

the other machines
have the appropriate settings for resolving your site

names?
