I have a site which is using sessions to pass data from one page through
to the next. The problem that I have is that there are only two places
where the session could/should be destroyed. This is where a form is
printed using :
<input type="button" name="Button" value="Print Order"
onClick="window.print();">
or when the order form is reset using a JavaScript function :

I’m facing some problem can u solve it.
Problem is:
I’m giving user Id and password in (Login_sess.asp) and submit it to page
(sess_test.asp). I am setting session variable (session(“Sin”)=”Yes”) just
before redirecting to the same page, but in first time I do not received the
value of session variable when I redirect it, when I execute this process
second time or redirect it only with the page name...

I am having some trouble with seesion variables.
I have just moved hosting companies to Brinkster.com but have been
having problems with my applications holding session.
They say they can't guarantee sessions and recomend another method of
storing persistant data.
I questioned them on why, only on their servers, my sessions are being
reset as often as they are. They said it must be a coding issue.

ASP.NET 1.1 question for you folks.
I'm working on a web aplication that stores some objects in the session.
What is happening is that after I reach a certain page, the session is
reset. Here is the information:
1. Cookies are enabled.
2. Session is 'InProc'.

I have been using the default session state (InProc) and have found that I
have been loosing my information after a period of time (normally 20
minutes).
Is there anyway to find out how much more time I have on a session?
If I do a refresh, does reset the session clock?
Do you have have to go to another page to reset the session timeout or will
a postback also do it? This is important as we have a few pages that a user

It doesn't currently seem possible to switch between different users using
SET SESSION AUTHORIZATION. If I log in as the superuser and switch to
another user that works, but if I then switch to a second user in succession
I get permission denied when I try to select from a table that the user does
have access to. Following is a cut and paste of two sessions showing what I
mean (with certain details masked out).

I am a little confused on how Session Timeout is handled. Does the session
timeout counter get reset on each postback or is it always counting down
until it expires regardless of postbacks?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
