Hey ppl , Need some input on the following. I'm creating an asp.net site to fill in an online form. The form has many sub sections and in total is about 8 pages long (hard copy). Whats the best way to put this online ? each actual form page to be one web page itself ? do i update the data directly to the database on each page to ensure the data is not lost ? Anybody done this before ? Thanks in advance..

Hello ppl, Imagine some online system, based on PgSql. There are 'many' parts which depends on each other. I will give small example, but instead of simple table imagine changing tenths various tables (editing). So, 'change table A' can be work for hours. There are tables tableA and tableB. Changes are made by thin client. If you change tableA, you have to also change tableB to 'finish' operation. Between starting changing tableA...

Ok so the first time I will be implementing this in asp.... An online store, allowing customer to update the records. I want to base it on mySQL because its free. A basic question: Better to write your own or use a commercial/free service or package to do this? If the latter, any recommendations? If the former, anyone point me to any articles?

I've used Rick Fisher's Find & Replace Add-In for many years. Some of you may be familiar with it. Last year, I asked Rick how to limit the searches performed by his tool to local tables only. He replied saying to type this in the table spec field in his application's main window: =|(%tbl%.attributes and 1073741824) = 0|

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
